I was dabbling with Pie and still am, but i couldn't find a way to the battery optimization screen without going through a random app in the battery section of the app. Ever notice that each app never contains the toggles for notifications and all the other categories? Not saying it's Samsung's design, but nobody ever fixes that screen jump game for all the apps.
So... where is that menu item? I am lazy. How easy is it to find? How many of you look in there to see all the automatic stuff? Not all that bad but a bit too much. Wouldn't be needed if more apps could be removed.
Ok. So is that is even worse because one would have to know what they were searching for to find it. Not a bad answer at all. It's another side door and still not really the best method. Probay load pie again and see.
i never officially got it. But i've been using many variations for months Your phone is a laptop, powerful but in constant... safe mode. it's like your average computer, but heavily restricted access to anything that may cause failure during normal usage. all the folders and files you do see, are actually contained in one of many. This is a good thing and if used correctly, you will not have to worry about any of the many problems that arise on a windows machine. For safety reasons especially. The problem is when this requirement is abused. You are loaded with so much stuff you will never use or educated about to rid of it. Finally, you don't even get support for it and soon find out it cannot use your apps without proper software. If you try to use other ways, then you're told that the warranty is void. If you want to get more information, or have thoughts about using your phone in a much more interesting way, i can tell you where to begin. In about an hour or so, you can see what's really going on and get some cool features. Look up XDA Developers, go to the A8 2018 section and you'll see. I put pie on an S5 last week. The A8 is not as popular, but keep an eye out for an S7 or even a 6. Those will be running modern software past Q... You have built in call recording, FM radio (yes hardware) and can take places out of your dialer to name a few.
