an internal antenna would be a great thing, but from personal experience (and various levels of success) in hacking a bunch of portable FM transmitters so that they work better in my car, I realized that the length of an antenna must be calculated with a specific math equation in order to have a chance of picking up the wavelength of radio frequencies involved. It was a fairly substantial length of single conductor cabling! and twisting something like 12ft of cable on itself so it was neat and tidy still meant there was a big ball of cable hanging off of the FM transmitter! I doubt there would be enough space to place an am/fm antenna internally (cuz manufacturers claim that they got rid of the headphone jack due to space constraints--I don't believe them though. it's to sell more wireless earbuds for hundreds of dollars) I think the headphones that we used to get with our smartphones were cleverly engineered to take advantage of the multiple conductors to meet the length required to pick of the radio frequencies...but that's just a guess
Samsung already has designed fm radio in their phones so the question is do they still place fm radios on their phones and do they work in both head sets and non headsets.
well if there's no antenna to pick up the signals, doesn't make sense that there would be a radio still built in, does it? for the models that still have a headphone jack, your guess is as good as mine..
