data toggle via adb

If you want a data toggle option and are not familiar with using adb, just google adb xda and you'll find out how quickly. Then enter this command in a shell:

settings put secure sysui_qs_tiles "$(settings get secure sysui_qs_tiles),MobileData,Hotspot"

Reboot and you'll have to add the toggle in the menu.

nope. you can skip that step entirey. it is from a comment below the article. that command lists current tiles and just adds in new ones.
Please do not make suggestions that are incorrect and have a nice day.

the original method selected is tedious and very capable of erasing your settings if you do it wrong.

i strongly suggest using this method rather than using an extra useless step as you suggest.

Yeah ok - My bad this does work as well - You can also add the VoLTE tile by adding:
...... ,VoLTE" to the string 👍

Themegalaxy app. It takes a lot of time but worth it. It also allows for icon packs and fonts.
I chose 018786 for dark green and 03DAC6 for brighter. Just standard google colours.
If you are able to tell me how, i can send my project file and save you the work. the app costs 1 dollar in the playstore.

sorry for barking shaggy... i used the method you posted of course and saw the comment below it and should have stated it clearly in my post in the first place.

There's also different ways to achieve settings such as showing the seconds or adding tiles. And yes shaggy that volte one works.
This app requires secure settings permission so if you just follow app instrucions it is rather easy.
Some things will stick and others need the paid add on to enforce. But i believe clock seconds will work without forcing. it can also be added via systemui tuner app, but this app has it all. I changed my key light value to 250 which is a quarter of a second. Of course if you are new to this try not to change stuff unless you are sure for obvious reasons.

The clock seconds has to be added to the secure table as a new entry. Just add it as clock_seconds and 1 value as shown bottom 2nd pic.
