Deleted message conversations by accident, help!

Hi everyone,

I accidentally deleted the conversation instead a message. I feel devastated and heartbroken because I lost my mother recently and the conversation with or about her are gone forever, I think.

I desperately did a phone restore but it only went back to May. 

Is it impossible to retrieve the rest?

I was able to retrieve them on via other connected phone. 🤷‍♀️🤓

Great that you were able to get the conversation back! 

You might want to make sure to backup your messages, to avoid any future issues. 

You can backup messages with Samsung's Smart Switch, and or a 3rd party app.

In addition to Smart Switch, I use this app, which backs up my messages daily to my Google Drive storage.

If you haven’t already, we strongly recommend backing them up now using Samsung Cloud, Google Drive, or exporting them manually just to make sure they’re safely preserved going forward.
