Woke up this morning and all my text messages to every single person has disappeared except for the starred ones which was only 2, anyone have this happen and anyone know how to fix it and get them back?

Please follow the steps below and get back to us with the results. You can retrieve all of your text messages if you have already saved them to a Samsung account.
The steps in the Samsung account: Go to settings >> Accounts and backup >> Samsung cloud >> Restore data >> Select the Messages option >> Restore.
Thanx not tried yet b/c it's synchronizinw google chrome gmail yahoo windows and third If I try your method will it know where to go? Should I unsyn 1st?
Happened 2 me every message I look at checks itself to trash. I thought they're being saved. Need help am in hospital w/ neuromuscular making phone difficult but MUST have axs messages. Also all my texts etc r blocked and I want them unblocked - which I did NOT do but may have hit some setting
