Galaxy A13 wifi not working when phone locked

Hi all,

Bought brand new A13 and I see that when I lock my phone or is ideal the wifi seems disconnected as I don't receive any whats app or any other social medial notification until I PIck up my phone and then I get all missed notification.

I did a lot of research and followed below steps.

1. Factory data reset

2. Saw dnd is not enable

3. No sleeping apps in the list

4. full permission provided to apps

5. Restarted and re configured router

6. Used both the bands of wifi to connect.

7. Check wifi setting as well.

8. Batter not in power saving mode

Any suggestion guys. This is really terrible.

Do you have wifi icon on your lock screen when you pickup your phone?

You may also want to check the following as well:

Open Settings → Connections → Wi-Fi → 3 dots on top right → Advanced

Is WiFi power saving mode is off?

Hi Tallman and axton I tried but I don't have that option after clicking 3 dots.

Hi, please enable Wifi on during sleep and check if your issue is solved.

Go to Settings >> Connections >> WiFi >> Advanced >> Keep WiFi On During Sleep >> Always.

Hi, did you try with different Wi-FI network?

Yes I tried. Sometimes works fine on other wifi and sometime same issue

Looks like samsung has no solution to this issue.
