On my A50 I caught a download from Galaxy themes.

I do not use Galaxy themes and give this app no permissions. Can any one tell me why it is downloading?

if you saw in your status bar "Samsung themes" with a download bar, it was most likely just the app updating.

If you want to be sure go into Samsung themes and click "purchases" and it will give you a list of every theme or wallpaper or AOD it's installed.

Looking at the Galaxy themes and going to settings notifications, there is no indication of what was downloaded. Why should this setting (This is built into the phones setting) be downloading anything?

Hey SamSungtwo,

You can disable the app notifications and app icon by following the below steps
Go to Galaxy themes app >> Menu (≡) >> Settings (Gear icon)
      >> Notification -> Toggle off (Make sure you disabled all the notifications)
      >> Add Galaxy Themes icon -> Toggle off
      >> Load store content -> Never

If you want to disable the entire app then follow the below steps
1. Go to Settings >> Apps >> Galaxy Themes >> 3 dots at right corner >> Uninstall updates
2. Go to Settings >> Apps >> Galaxy Themes >> Disable & Force stop

I hope this will solve your issue.🙂

Keagan your second option only allows updates to be uninstalled. Even if I execute this option their is no reason the updates won't reinstall.

What are these updates ?
