Handwriting recognition disappear

Handwriting recognition disappear in Galaxy A11 after Android 11 update.

Please try the following:

- Power off your phone
- Press and hold vol up and power key until you are in recovery mode
- use vol up and down to navigate
- select Wipe Cache Partotion
- press power key to confirm
- click yes
- click reboot system

After Wipe Cache Partition, test again and see if you have handwriting feature in your keyboard.

Check the following as well. If you open the keyboard from any apps, like my screenshot. Click 3 dots on top right corner. Do you have handwriting you can choose from?

Also, if you click the Settings (gear icon) on keyboard, do you have Handwriting option there?

Hi Tallman. I followed your instructions and reboot the system. But afterwards, handwriting feature still does not show in the keyboard. Any other suggestions? Thanks again!

Do you have handwriting under Keyboard Settings?

Also, are you using Samsung keyboard?

Yes Tallman. I'm using Samsung keyboard but NO handwriting under Keyboard Settings. Please see image. Thanks

Ok, another suggestion here.

Open Settings → Apps → Samsung Keyboard → Storage

click clear cache and data

Then try Samsung keyboard again.

I try this option, the samsung keyboard is able to use handwriting for chinese character.
