Galaxy AIf Samsung News is a System App on your phone, then you can't uninstall it.
If you are talking about the Samsung News Widget, if you disable Samsung News, then you won't have the Widget for it.

Galaxy AObviously, you didn't express what you wanted to say.
You expressly stated that you did not want to disable the Home Screen Widget.. Or should I have read something that wasn't there?
Samsung News isn't a System App on any of my Samsung devices.. but, as I already said,, if it is on your device, then you can NOT Uninstall it. You can either disable it from Settings > Apps Search for "Samsung News" > Disable if it gives you the option, or disable it with adb or a package disabler.
You understood that you can not "get rid of it", if it's a System App?

Galaxy AHi MidnightStarr20
Yes as said by RedDogRabbit, if it is a system app on your device that can't be uninstalled or fully disabled.
While you can't remove it, you can stop it from using space and resources by disabling notifications and clearing its data in Settings > Apps > Samsung News. This won't remove the app, but it will reduce its impact.
Thank you.
