In Messages, why are some conversation clouds blue and others green?

blue is when they are rcs to another rcs supported phone and green is when they are not(regular sms)

I love the Samsung message app. I just can't use it because it wakes up the display every text I get

Hi dannothemano, Check if you can disable it by Opening Messages App >> 3 dot menu >> Settings >> Notifications >> New messages >> Lock screen >> Show notifications(Toggle off).

nothing works. I've been through all kinds of steps.

Unfortunately, there is no option to disable completely but we can do it by disabling the notifications in Settings. But disabling the notifications is not a good idea as we no longer get notified about the new messages.
