Galaxy AShould be:
Settings > Connections > NFC & Contactless Payments & Toggle it On.
It should also be available in your QS Tiles, although you may need to Edit the QS Tiles to add it.

Galaxy AIt could be that it has been disabled by Samsung Canada, or your Canadian Carrier?

Galaxy APossibly with adb commands, but I don't know what it's code name is, it could be something as simple as "NFC"?
I would contact your Carrier and ask them if they are the ones who disabled it.
What is the model number of your device, ie: SM-xxxxx in Settings > About Phone?

Galaxy AThat's not a Canadian device, so that is probably why NFC isn't available for you.
That is the International version.
I'm guessing that you purchased it from Amazon or eBay, or you purchased it abroad.
Amazon & eBay frequently sell non Canadian devices on their websites.

Galaxy AI'm thinking that because it's an international variant, and you are with a Canadian Carrier, it's the Canadian Carrier that has disabled it.
I know that some of the Canadian Carriers have been known to be difficult, even with Canadian devices, but if you didn't buy it from them, you have to fight to get WiFi Calling, VoLTE etc.
With an international device, it's extremely unlikely that you will get anywhere with them.
Maybe the only thing that you can do, would be to Root the device, and Flash a Custom Rom that has NFC enabled..?
