I guess you could try Resetting the Camera's settings, and try Clearing Cache & Data for the Camera > Reboot.
It's also possible that scanning isn't available on your device?

Galaxy AI think that both you & @MidnightStarr2020 have the same device?
So if that's the case, resetting the Camera's settings, or Clearing Cache & Data for the Camera should work for them as well.
