What has Samsung done to it's displays. For the last 14 years have been buying Samsung phones. GALAXY S , NOTE, J SERIES , S SERIES. and recently bought A55 but the colours of the phone are pathetic. It's completely washed out display not what AMOLED display used to look like. It's so whitish that it hurts eyes even after turning on the comfort shield. Moreover whatever content you watch it's just not producing those beautiful colours like in previous AMOLED screens.
Also too many variants confuses people SAmoled , SAMoled+ ,Dynamic Amoled and Ultra ..blah blah..while reducing the quality overall . There should be only two AMOLED or OLED others are just to fool people.
Right now on A55 it doesnot even appear AMOLED rather Glossy LCD panels which turn too much whitish bright hurting eyes and zero contrast and colours.
The Vivid and Natural slider given to adjust color settings is a joke as it does nothing in real.
I had A30 which had amazing colours and upgraded to A55 without even checking other brands hoping that would get better performance from Samsung. But now I just want to throw the phone. It's useless so much disappointing.
Whoever in Samsung made changes to the Displays need to be thrown out. Broke the trust of there old loyal customers.

Check Display Settings Again: Try with the display settings. Comfort Shield and Vivid/Natural can be subtle, but in some cases, you might find the right combination to improve your experience.
Adjust via Developer Settings: You can enable Developer Options and tweak color settings more deeply, though it may still have limitations based on the hardware.
However, we will definitely consider this as a valuable feedback and communicate to the appropriate team for review.
Have tried those steps earlier but they won't fix this problem as this is a HW problem
Can you escalate this issue and help me in returning the phone as I already visited service centre within the first 7 days and filed complaint there.
I simply can't watch anything for long on this display it's hurting too much eyes and zero colours only white brightness everywhere. I still have A30 which is doing great.
But according to them everything is working as designed. It's not a problem for them. They even tested using there diagnostic and said no problems.
This is a cheating done with customers as not providing them with quality displays while still charging them heavily on A series. Even here no one from Samsung is giving any response now except apologies which are also useless like there displays on A55
You need to compare with A30 and you will realize what TRUE colours really are. This display is simply a fraud done to people. Please check this link it's not just my problem
