Galaxy A
so this Galaxy A14 5G was just working fine but after updating to one ui 7 the touch just stopped working entirely
the display has been replaced before and its not an original display and i think thats why it bricked the phone
is there a way to restore the touch or am i supposed to actually put an original display on the phone?

have same problem with yours, its because the different version of the display and samsung software, same with my A05 phone. in order to return the functions, you have to replace for original display at samsung service centre

i heard that you can connect the old display to boot it up and then you can reconnect the new display to use it but its been replaced twice so i doubt my dad still has the old display
also what if i tried to replace it with another non oem display to cut costs? will that work or i really need to take it to the service center for the original display?

no guarantee of any kind of that will work or using any kind of displays besides samsung's. therefore, i suggest you to repair at service centre instead, for safety purpose. only cost $25 or maybe less, depends on ur region
