So I just bought an A52 5G. I found out that it was the Indian version, which I didn't mind at first. My question is, ( but I think I may know the answer) Is there an somewhat easy way to change the country version of the firmware?

I tested the phone and I can text and make phone calls of course other apps work fine. But, I only have the Indian version of Samsung Pay and I read there may be other sacrifices due to this. I know I can use Google Pay but I prefer Samsung Pay over Google Pay since you can essentially use a widget that's at the bottom.

Hi AmeriCanuck, Samsung pay app is country specific app, you can use Samsung pay Canadian version only on Canadian phones.

Ok, yeah, I figured. I'll just have to deal with that I guess and some of the other minor region specific things or just buy a Canadian version. Other option would be to change the firmware, of course, to the Canadian version. But, I'd probably have to pay someone as I'm not sure if I could do that myself, even following instructions.

Well,I was able to add my prepaid Visa card from KOHO financial which is a Canadian institution. For my RBC its asking for an expiry and CVV which is invalid since RBC'S cards aren't Visa/MC debits. They give you a Virtual Visa Debit code to use online. But it's not supported in Samsung Pay.

Hi, how can one request to update the country settings when moved from one country to another?
