Hi, please try the below steps to remove the pin code and get back to us with the results.

Tap on Apps

Now tap on the Settings icon and then tap on the Device option

Tap on the Lock screen and then tap on the Screen lock

Now enter and confirm the saved PIN screen lock.

Tap on None to disable PIN screen lock. Please check if you have this option on the device."

There is no way to remove lock screen. But you can use Swipe for screen lock type. However, that leave your phone no security at all.

Try using Face regconition or Finger print for unlock if you don't want to type everytime.

Or set up Bixby routine to unlock your phone while you are at home. See screenshot.Screenshot_20210727-132903_Bixby Routines_46894.jpg

There doesn't seem to be a 'Device' option!

And when I get to 'Lock Screen' there is no "None" to disable PIN screen lock

Ah well, thanks for trying.

I'm going to change my password to IHATESAMSUNG.

At least I'll feel better.

I know this is over a year old but i figured id post some updated insite.

the directions you've been given already are correct. you got to settings then lock screen then select none or swipe.

but the post below by Tallman is alright but you don't need routines to unlock your phone when your home.

below the lock type in the same settings I mentioned above you should see smart lock. input your password and there you go. see images below.
