I have the 1st gen, so I did not follow the news. I heard they support 5G on this model now. I still love my 1st gen and it serve me well everyday. 🙂

Now waiting for QuickShare implement to Win10, then transfer file will be a lot more easier.

@Tallman I have been trying to get a 1st gen for 2 weeks, but the 15in model seems to be sold out everywhere including Samsung.ca; now I'm wondering if I should just wait for the new one

Depends on how rush you need the laptop and what feature you need from the laptop.

If you can wait, of course 2nd gen is better than 1st gen. I think the WiFi support the newest WiFi6 if you are planning to upgrade your router within 1 or 2 years to WiFi6.

Since I didn't follow the news, I do not know what's new on BookFlex2. But if you are not in rush, choosing the one that suit your needs.

Just a heads up, Samsung laptops use finger print for Windows Hello. Windows Hello face regconition is not working even they have built-in camera. So, if you are face regconition fans, beware. I like finger print security way more better. 😉
