Yikes! Best to take care of that thing before it doubles in size.

I am careful .. after being stung by a wasp nest IN THE GROUND a few years ago while cutting the lawn!

I was stung as a child, just sitting in the grass when anything yellow and black was, to my knowledge, a bee 🐝 🙃. Since then, I've been terrified of them ALL!😱🫣🙅🏾‍♀️

Ohh, well the regular bees don't typically attack and sting, unless they're provoked. Wasps/hornets will attack you

This is why I'm afraid of them all because if it was a regular bee 🐝 then it stung me for no reason other than I was probably sticky with candy or fruit 🤦🏾‍♀️🫣😱

I thought yellow and the black and white were different species. I hate those things

Well to finish this story, window washers were here yesterday .. so I warned the washer about the wasp nest. We'll when he finished he decided to knock it down (came loose easily he said with a spatula). I didn't touch it til this morning .. no signs of any activity.. so I opened the nest (in the video above you can actually see whitish eggs in the nest). So here is a close up of the open nest .. eggs and one "larva" (at left) was actually moving .. nature is interesting .. beautiful or hideous depending on your perspective 20240604_094216_1000026707_1717508539.jpg
