I wear glasses half the time, and happen to have a high prescription which doesn't let me/very difficult to use iris unlock. And my face profile is only recognized half the time unfortunately. Please create another profile for unlocking the phone. Thank you!
with the iris scanner and high Rx glasses you must hold out your note 8 directly in front of you eyes for it to work quicker instead of slow. the reason behind this is due to the thickness of your lens (myopia - or hyperopia +) the angle of refraction is greatest when your phone is not straight line of sight and causes the sensor to 'miss' the target iris because the the image is displaced by the magnification or minification of your glasses.
You are right (I also have special coating on the lenses that refracts), it does work but it almost has to be in a perfect position and a lot of times i just end up using th fingerprint scanner because it needs almost 3 tries with the iris, I just think this could be an easy fix with 2 profiles for face unlock, or a special profile for people with glasses that records 2 faces
