I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to raise an issue that I, and many other Galaxy Note users, have been experiencing recently regarding excessive battery drain and overheating problems on our devices.

Issue Description:
Over the past few weeks, I have noticed a significant decline in the battery life of my Galaxy Note. Even with minimal usage and background apps closed, the battery drains much faster than it used to. Additionally, the device tends to become uncomfortably warm, sometimes even hot, during regular tasks like web browsing or using social media apps.

Details:

Device Model: Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
Software Version: Android 12, One UI 4.0
Battery Health: 88%
Usage Patterns: The issue occurs consistently during various activities, including browsing, video streaming, and even when the phone is idle.
Charging Behavior: The phone occasionally experiences slow charging, and the battery percentage sometimes increases erratically while charging.
Steps Taken So Far:
I've attempted several troubleshooting steps to alleviate the issue, including:

Restarting the device: To clear any temporary glitches.
Clearing Cache: Through device maintenance settings.
Checking for Software Updates: Ensuring I am using the latest available version.
Reducing Background Apps: Manually closing unnecessary apps.
Factory Reset: As a last resort, I performed a factory reset, but the issue persists.
Community Input:
I would appreciate hearing from fellow Galaxy Note users who might be experiencing similar problems and how they have addressed them. If any community members have received guidance from Samsung support or have found third-party solutions, please share your experiences.

Request for Samsung Support:
Lastly, I kindly request Samsung's attention to this matter. Given the significance of the Galaxy Note series, it's crucial that issues affecting its performance are addressed promptly. It would be great to receive official guidance or updates on potential fixes for these battery drain and overheating concerns.

Thank you all for your time and assistance. Let's work together to resolve these issues and ensure the best possible experience with our Galaxy Note devices.

The Note 20 Ultra was released just over 3 years ago.

If you got it new when it was first released, you are getting the expected battery life.

This is not Samsung's opinion, but the screen shots represent Battery Manufacturers as well as Tech pundits.

There's isn't anything that I or anyone else should expect Samsung to do regarding this.

It's not a poor design of the device, the battery or the software.

Maybe update the phone to Android 13... Android 12 is outdated.
