I've noticed browsers using way more battery than before. I've tried switching different browsers but it makes no difference.  Is anyone else experiencing this?

something's not right about this, I'm wondering if it has anything to do with wifi?

What's your WiFi - 5 Ghz or 24 GHz? But that shouldn't make any difference either..
Honestly - I've NEVER seen any Browser anywhere near the top of the list of battery usage.. Maybe if you're using an inefficient VPN or something else that is attached to your Browser.. Samsung Internet is using 0.4% & Chrome is slightly higher at 0.8% and I was listening to Spotify for over 2 hours in this time frame...And again neither Browser shows up on the Samsung Battery info.

I have Google wifi so it switches automatically to the strongest band with no VPN. I'm stumped

Maybe try Disabling Samsung Internet & try Kiwi Browser (has a native black/dark theme) it's got a great reputation & privacy / anti tracking etc - Just for a couple of days & compare the battery usage.. just an idea🐧
