I have a number of multi day events in my calendar. Most of them are purple. I change the colour to red once they've been completed so I know they're done. In the last 2 weeks, every time I change the colour it creates a new event for that day rather than just changing the colour, and the purple one stays in my calendar.
Is there a way to stop that from happening? I just want the colour to change, for the event to stay in my calendar, and not create a new event for that day.
I have a Samsung note 8, and just updated to Android 8.0.0 a few weeks ago

That doesn't happen for me as I just tried it.
The only thing I can suggest is see if your calender is up to date. Worst case scenario is that you delete and re-download the calender app

Hey @kristin, please try deleting and re-downloading the app as Echo has suggested. If your are still encountering the issue after that please submit an error report.
