I'd be careful with call recording...just saying. I work in communications and by law you have to advise the other party everytime a call is being recorded..

not in Canada. Canadian laws is 1 party consent and what that means is as long as 1 party is aware of the recording (that 1 party can be the party doing the recording) then it's legal. only legal as long as you are part of the convention. https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/C-46/section-183.1.html --> 183.1 Where a private communication is originated by more than one person or is intended by the originator thereof to be received by more than one person, a consent to the interception thereof by any one of those persons is sufficient consent for the purposes of any provision of this Part.
