This is third year for my galaxy note 20 ultra. And now when I start the GPS the arrow is pointing down or side ways instead of pointing top. Also for mobile cheque deposit the camera is not capturing sharp images. Even if I use document scan option in camera it will preview clear picture but as soon as I take a picture it is blurry.
Hi, We suggest you to perform Wipe cache on your device. This will not erase personal data on the phone. It deletes temporary cache files in the phone.
1) Turn off the device.
2) Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power Key.
3) When the Android logo displays, release all keys.(("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options).
4) Press the Volume down key several times to highlight “wipe cache partition.”
5) Press the Power key to select.
6) Press the Volume down key to highlight “yes” and press the Power key to select.
7) When the wipe cache partition is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.
Press the Power key to restart the device.
Also, we recommend you to perform camera reset for the camera issue and check if your issue is solved.
Open the Camera app >> tap Settings or Gear icon located on the upper-left corner >> tap Reset settings >> tap Reset to confirm.
Hi Helenna , I performed the steps you provided. Thank you very much for that. The camera thing did not work. It is still blurry if I take picture of any document. Or scan it with "T" option still blurry. I will drive tomorrow and use GPS so I will update if it works.
Hi Helenna, sorry the GPS is still pointing downwards. North should be always pointed upwards and that way it is more convenient for me to turn left or right. But this arrow is pointing downwards always. So once I start the route, I lock my rotation in phone and then use it upside down.
My Note 20 ultra camera woukd require a shake or slap of the phone to focus. I got rid of it before I attempted to fix it. Apperantly not uncommon to occur on that device. A lot of people blamed a software update.
