I tried long pressing but forget network wasn't an option. The only way I could was to try and connect to a random network, enter any password to which I would be denied access, of course. Then go back to the wifi network screen where a little blue question mark would appear by the network I was trying to remove. Press that and I finally get the option to forget network, but it doesn't! I tried with 3 different networks that I don't have access to, the same ridiculous method to have it ignore my request to forget said network.
Is it not possible?

Try resetting your network settings.

Go to Settings & Search for "reset" & make sure that you ONLY click on Reset Network Settings.

Reboot & You *SHOULD* be done.

Try this

Settings > Connections > WiFi > 3 dot menu top right & Advanced > Manage Networks & Select the one you want to delete & Click on it & then Delete at the bottom of the screen.

Unfortunately the only one listed is the one I want to keep.

Try this, go back to the WiFi Advanced settings & Toggle OFF Reconnect Automatically & then  Reset your Network Connections again.

See if the ones you DON'T want still appear?

Sorry, I should have said "turn on WiFi automatically". Click on it & it should display WiFi Locations where you want it to turn on automatically & delete the location where you are seeing the WiFi connection that you DON'T want.

Also not an option. I did turn it off, reset and rebooted but to no avail Screenshot_20211021-175223_Settings.jpg

Last thing that I can think of, backup your phone with smart switch & factory reset.
