I have a plan to visit South Korea.

I bought my galaxy note 10+ from local Samsung store without contract.

Can I use my phone in Korea? or Do I have to do country lock?

Not expert in this subject. But I know if you purchase the phone directly from Samsung it is already unlocked. You can use your phone anywhere. The only drawback I've seen from this forum, users asking Samsung account Country change. So, you may need to create Samsung account under Korea Samsung. Also, your phone may still follow Canada update schedule to obtain update? (That I am not sure). If your technical skill good enough, I think you can flash your ROM to overcome different region situation. I think member: CHMultimedia or Shaggykun1 can answer your question.

Hi  Samsung_4UyacZ6 A, Please note that the phones purchased in Canada work with compatible SIM cards from any Canadian carrier. The Phones may be compatible with other wireless networks around the world. Contact your local service provider for more details.
