What's the basis of the country of origin in my samsung account? It doesn't show my current country and most likely why I get irrelevant advertising for Samsung pay and other Samsung apps. How do I change that?

You can't change the first country, you'll have to create another Samsung's account ...
Your Samsung Account is registered to the country where you initially set it up.
To change the country of your Samsung Account, first delete your Samsung Account, then set up a new Samsung Account. You will also need to remove the old Samsung Account from your device, then set up the new Samsung Account on your device.

For further information, find out how to delete, remove and set up a Samsung Account.

I didn't found it in Canada Website

Hi RogersMuts,

As mentioned by Cassidy, "You can't change the first country, you'll have to create another Samsung's account ...
Your Samsung Account is registered to the country where you initially set it up.
To change the country of your Samsung Account, First, delete your Samsung Account, then set up a new Samsung Account. You will also need to remove the old Samsung Account from your device, then set up the new Samsung Account on your device."

So, please follow the steps provided by Cassidy, and get back to us with the result.

OR Just create another account with the country as Canada.

But, why one cannot change the country on their account? People move, change their country of residence, change places for work. I think Samsung should be lenient about this. I have Google, Microsoft, Apple--all handling dual countries billing just fine. 🙄

Thanks Cassidy, Halston, for that info. sure asifak I thought there could be a way around but seems not.
Samsung should work on that, the work is global and people move all time.
cheers
