Facebook uninstall not disable?

How do I uninstall Facebook software from my unlocked Samsung Note 9? I can disable it, but I cannot uninstall it which is very, very annoying. Disabling is not good enough.

Yep 👍 but I think most people uses Facebook though. But still we should be able uninstall, feels kinda forceful.

You can disable it with a package disabler - ie: Adhell 3 - notSABS - or remove it with adb - see the link: 🐧

I think it'll just hide it for the user, not uninstall. It's kinda baked into system, only rooting will let us uninstall

Thanks for the shared link, but as I read it. It doesn't solve the problem just hides it. Is my only recourse to dump the entire OS and load a new one? Seems like the hard way to deal with a problem.

almost no Snapdragon-equipped Note 9's have unlockable bootloaders so changing o/s's likely isn't feasible for you. If you have a Exynos-equipped Note, there is hope for an o/s change.

The minute there is a viable linux phone I'm dumping this exceptional phone just because of this type of nonsense...My phone my choices.....

Yeah I absolutely agree that we should have unlocked Bootloaders! Imagine if you couldn't get Admin rights on your computer!
