Gallery app bug sincd update

Since the update, I cannot see my pictures stores on my sd card. I tried installing, reinstalling the update and it doesn't fix it.

It doesn't see them. Is my sd card the problem? I can see the photos on my file app.

maybe the sd card has the problem...try to insert your sd card to other phone..then try to take a picture

The issue seems to be with the photos only. My other media are seen with other apps and I just tried using another app to see ny pictures on my sd card and it seems them. Only the samsjng gallery app cannot see them.

Nope. All good after update
most likely aftermarket or cheap SDCard Gone bad. the only time I never skimp is on sd cards. Samsung branded only in my device. cheaper Adata or Kingston sdcards fail after time or some system hiccup in my experience.

Well it works with my other app except the Samsung Gallery App. They need to fix this bug. I ain't swapping my sd card until it really gives me issues on my other apps in my note 8.

Rebuild the gallery database
Press and Hold Gallery Icon then app Info th then clear cache/ data

Been there done that and the problem is still there.
I guess I will use another gallery app to see thos pictures.

Whats your Gallery version?
Im currently using 5.3.x but there appears to be a better version out there 5.4.x
