Just downloading google photos if you don't have it already works great. It's possible you may have also been eligible for the 100GB storage promotion similar to those who bought the S8. It's super easy as anywhere you log into Gmail, you'll have it right there. Photos and videos will automatically sync up whenever you're connected over WiFi too. One thing I recommend if you use it though is to go into the settings for it and change 'Upload Size' to 'Original'. While their 'High Quality' option doesn't affect your cloud storage, it's much better to have access to the much higher quality originals.
