LTE is showing while on wifi?

this has only happened since yesterday the arrows doesn't indicate that it's using data and it is definitely using the wifi but it's just weird that it's doing that. anyone know why?

this happens when wifi signal is too bad or connection is poor. It tries to switch to lte while wifi connection becomes stable simultaneously. Happens to me sometimes on my S8+.

I don't think that's it cause there isn't a connectivity issue symbol. as well as the LTE arrows aren't being highlighted at all

LTE arrows ain't highlighting as you're on homescreen and not using anything, and if there was a connectivity issue symbol you wouldn't see the both icons. That's how adaptive wifi works, search Google.

I've seen this periodically - Check your Settings in WiFi - Advanced - Adaptive WiFi (Cell Data needs to be Enabled).
It's not a Bug - It's designed to maintain connectivity 🐧

yeah that's turned off. so I still have no idea why that's there

I've kept an eye on it while I'm on other apps at it's literally only highlighting the wifi arrows. switch to data is off on the adaptive wifi too

A simple Reboot will often clear up any erroneous errors 🐧
