Hi jgohil, It’s recommended to optimize battery usage time by setting optimized power mode, adaptive power-saving feature or adding unused apps to sleep depending on your usage pattern. Usage time may also vary depending on your device settings and operating conditions. I suggest you try the settings below and check if the issue got resolved.

Settings > Device care > Optimize now

Settings > Device care > Battery > Power mode > Optimized

Settings > Device care > Battery > app power management > Adaptive battery(On)

Settings > Device care > Battery > app power management > Put unused apps to sleep(On)

that's why I sold mine. For a $2000 phone in Canada battery should have been MUCH better.

Give it a bit of time. New phones still adapting to your use and in time it will decrease usage amount.

Not only that, the charger literally charges your phone to an extremely acceptable amount in 20 min. Just leave it alone for a little maybe?

Hello

I switched from Ios to android and have note ultra. I am looking that battery drain very fast. I changed my setting to adapting and also reduced the frequency.

Is there any option in the phone that we can check that there is not any manufacturing flaw of battery. As in ios you can check the battery health which shows 100 % when you buy it and reduced after months or year as per your usage.

Thanks

Hi Tswalia, You could use diagnostics tools in the Samsung Members app.

Please open Samsung Members app >> Get help >> Interactive checks >> Battery.

Hi Tswalia, Thanks for getting back to us with the results. I suggest you try booting your device into safe mode by following the instructions below and check any third-party applications that are causing this issue.

1- Turn off the device.
2- Press and hold the Power/Lock key for one or two seconds to turn on the device.
3- When the Samsung logo displays, press and hold the Volume down key until the lock screen displays.
4- When the lock screen displays Safe mode will be shown in the lower-left corner of the screen.
To exit Safe mode, press the Power/Lock key and then tap Restart.
