I have gone through my 5th Note 20 Ultra device in the matter of a month due to all 5 devices having either image retention or permanent burn in the display. I have contacted Samsung and my carrier and both did *bleep*. Samsung said imagine retention is normal for Samsung screens moving forward and isn't classified as defective. I got my 6th device brand new and selling it to whoever like the note series and doesnt care about image retention. For a 2000$ CAD device I certainly due. Will be switching to One Plus.

So you've gone through 5 note 20s, have your screen timeout set to 30 seconds, and brightness at 40%. There has to be something you arent telling us because that's not normal at all.

Never had a note 20 ultra. I have had an S10e, Note 8, S8, S7, and S5. None of those phones had any issues with their OLED displays, and only had burn in after 1-2 years of use.

You're the first person I've heard of who is having this problem with their note 20 ultra.

as mentioned before if you search up Note 20 Ultra image retention you will see lots of results. Samsung used new panels this year

I'm currently writing this message on a Note 20 Ultra and know multiple people who have one. Furthermore, I have almost 5 Samsung phones prior to this and have never had this issue. Plus the fact that you've gone through 5 of them and still have this issue means that either you've unintentionally done something or the place you are getting your phone from has gotten a bad batch of phones.

Hi sagarm26, I have checked the resources and I didn't find any such known issues with the device.
