note 20 will not receive text messages from iphones

I changed from iphone to note 20 - have deregistered my phone number with apple, have reset network settings,and still cannot receive text messages from iphones.

I hope your text message not refer to iMessage. Android phones won't receive iMessage. Just want to clarify your question.

Try messages app,menu, settings, chat,select default messaging type,text/sms

Hi, Please clear cache and data for the Messages app on the device and check if you are able to send/receive messages.
