Thanks for providing your phone model number. I suggest you to perform the wipe cache partition of the device and get back to us with the results.
Here are the steps for wipe cache partition:
- Press and hold the Power key, tap Power off, and then tap OK.
- Press and hold the Power key and Up Volume key at the same time.
- Release the Power key when the Samsung logo appears.
- Release the Volume keys when the Android image appears.
- Press the Volume keys to highlight Wipe cache partition.
- Press the Power key to select.
- Once “Cache wipe complete” appears, press the Power key to select the Reboot system now.
- The device restarts once the wipe is finished.

Yes, I suggest you to perform the factory data reset of the device after back up the data on a computer using the Smart switch software. Make sure that you have removed the configured accounts from your phone before going to perform a factory reset otherwise it will be locked with one of the configured accounts.

You can find the factory data reset option under the General management of the device settings.
