Note 8 and One UI 2

My question is is why does my 2013 iPad mini 2 got 5-6yrs of updates, yet my note 8 from 2017 doesnt get One UI2? It's capable of running. Looking for others out there to ask Samsung the same question. Almost seems inclusive, only for those who have "the better tech". Absolutely ridiculous.

The iphone6s can also be upgraded to iOS13

Nothing really changes in iPhones this making it easier to update and not as costly as other phones.

Plus Apple makes their phones and their os.

Android is google than passed down to phone makers than push to services providers to check over.

See the cost? Look at it in the sense of business and making money.

Its unfair but that's business.

samsung is part of the forced upgrades pack. if they update old phones they can't get you to buy new ones.

I can see that.....I mean give it at least 3yrs old or to premium models from the last 2-3yrs.
