Hello. Note 8 camera is fantastic just that at night time I seem to be bad with photo taking compared to amazing ones I have seen on the internet. some newbie questions.
1. When they say dual OIS lens (whatever that is...i know its something about making things steady at night time??), is it applied by default (they referring to hardware not some feature to be turned on or off?)
2. any tips on how to take great night photos? (g2 go pro mode and play around w aperture and stuff I guess?) I set image quality resolution as 16:9.

1. dual OIS means when you're taking a picture or a video the frame doesn't shake as much meaning you'll get a much more clear shot. it is built into phone, the only way to turn it off is by taking the phone apart (highly not recommended)
Actually if you're taking a video and you don't require the OIS then you turn off video stabilization in the settings.

I have found that if you do not zoom in for a picture, but get as close as you can, the snap the pic and crop later (yes, sounds idiotic and bass ackwards), you will end up with a much better picture.
