Hi,

My Note 9 turns off and/or reboots on it's own whenever my screen turns off. This started yesterday.

Factory Reset Changed Nothing.

After a little research, I found a ton off people with similar issues.

As per their suggestion, I disable everything to do with the fingerprint sensor (unlocks, samsung pass, etc).

My phone is now behaving normally again, except I cannot use the fingerprint sensor.

Any update/fix that would let me use the fingerprint sensor again ? I was planning on keeping my device for a while still, but without the fingerprint sensor it's a lot less convenient to use.

Please do not suggest Safe Mode or Factory Reset. It's been tried and does not solve the issue.

Thanks.

Hi SilentCarrier, I suggest you get the device examined by the authorized technician to know the root cause of the issue. Please note that due to Government COVID regulations, most of the service centers would be operating with curbside pick up/drop off or non-functional depending on the locality.

Please contact the live chat by using the link below and they help you set up the service. www.samsung.com/ca/livechat
