I hate notches, punch holes, or anything else on the front screen, especially in service of a selfie cam. I've heard that the upcoming under the screen selfie cam may have problems.
SO, my suggestion is to just put a screen or a viewfinder on the back of the phone so you can use the rear camera for selfies. I think one of the Folds has something like this.
Yep, holes/notches is the #1 reason I ditched samsung devices. My s7 is my last samsung device until they fix that stupid design flaw.
Unfortunately I'll have to update my work's s8 phone soon, and eventually will get stuck with a punch hole, but at least it'll only be a work device, not a daily driver.
