1-I read somewhere that it works now with the Galaxy Note 8. What are your thoughts about it? Anyone here tested this out? I plan to get the Note 10 in the future anyhow.
2-If I buy the cable, where does it take the power to charge the phone? Would I need to buy a usbc splitter to charge and use the cable at the same time?
1- it works on the note 8 2- Dex or Usb c splitter has power in/out, hdmi, USB and some of the splitters have SD card slots and even an Ethernet port. Goto amazon and search Dex
Hi Karumin, if your device has a USB-C port you just need the USB-C/HDMI cable to work in DEX mode....i bought a splitter before but mine wasn't charging in the same time I was using DEX cable...so i ask for a refund. I am not sure you can charge your device in the same time you are using the USB-C/HDMI cable

That picture of 1 cable is so not Dex 🤮 Y'all need to order from Samsung or check amazon for what I said. read the reviews and make sure it's compatable, most are, but read questions or even ask a question if your not sure 🤷♂️
