I'm trying to return my current note 20 ultra to get the other color but Samsung chat agent said that my return may not be valid as I removed the plastic films of the device. I have returned other non Samsung products which do not have this requirement. She was not 100 percent sure so she said you can try and our team will determine it. I have everything else intact packaging wise. The only thing missing is the plastic back top bottom and screen cover that everyone removes as soon as they get the device. So if anyone has returned device before, can you let me know if the rep was misinformed or is it correct?

Removing the plastic films didn't prevent me from getting a full refund in store (Samsung Store) last week. Unfortunately, misinformed live chat reps are a common issue. We remember the outcry when they kept announcing that OneUI betas were coming to us...
