s pen does not write for character recognition.

When using the s pen to fill in a field, hovering over the field, and choosing the T/pen icon, my writing does nothing I the writing area.

Anyone else have this and was able to get around it?
I don't remember if this ever worked on this device. This is the replaced note 7.

ah the using swyftkey Keyboard conflicts with the Pen input. switched tO the Samsung Keyboard and back I was able To get it working
