I use the screen write feature quite a bit and since my most recent update, the eraser tool is no longer a feature. If I make a mistake in the beginning of what I am writing, I have to undo everything and rewrite. I'm only perfect on the 3rd Saturday of the 5th month so I need the eraser. Is there a way I can get it back on, is there a work around or do I need to contact Samsung? Thanks!

Are you referring to the screen write feature when the screen is off? On my Note 9 with Android 9.0 One UI, I still have the eraser tool on my screen. Did you factory reset after updating your phone? You can also try going into recovery and wiping the cache to see if that brings it back.

If you choose to factory reset, make sure you back up your phone first, I would suggest Smart Switch for backing up.

I have a Note 8 and updated to Pie. If you are referring to "screen write" (snapping a screen pic and writing on it) it will have the undo/redo arrows. In order to activate the eraser in this mode, you need to press and hold the S Pen button. When you are done simply let go of the button and it will revert back to Pen.

Yeah, ditto. This totally **bleep**. They need to fix this. Did you find a way around this yet?

I found it. Hold down on the S pen button while in write mode. Somehow I got a new menu at the bottom of the screen and it has the erase button there again.
