Just purchased my Note 8 today. Discovered Samsung Pay was not available in the Galaxy Store. The current latest supported device is the S8+ on the current compatibility list. Any ETA for when the device would have Samsung Pay updated? I believe my S8+ had the functionality right out of the box.
I called Samsung Canada this morning and they said they are releasing an update to Samsung Pay shortly that will be compatible with the Note 8. Very frustrating Samsung Pay was not compatible with the Note 8 right out of the box. I was using it with my CIBC visa for now but can't wait until it's compatible with RBC here in Canada.
