Has anyone else noticed this?  Really annoying nuisance.

Almost every time I pick up my phone and unlock using my finger print.

I see my home screen or whatever app that I had open, for half a second, then goes straight to my secure folder.

I thought it was the lift to wake setting, but I switched it off.

Tried to force stop the secure folder app, but that didn't work either - can't figure this out

I don't have anything in my secure folder yet M- but I would like to add 2 files

Does anyone know how to make this stop???

Just noticed something today.

I had to use the secure folder today - to store a User ID and password - I entered it using the Samsung Notes app before I left for work this morning - this was the first time I've used the secure folder.

It had stopped happening (the going to Secure Folder as soon as I unlock my phone with my finger print)

I read the post that it's not a bug - it's a setting - so I disabled the finger print to access the Secure Folder - just had the PIN # to access it.

It has not happened all day 😊

I have since enabled the finger print and it still has not happened.

For those of you that are experiencing the same issue -

Have you ever used the secure folder feature?

If you have not, try storing a simple note in the folder and see if it stops

I am going to delete the note and see if it starts happening again - if it does, then there's a definate 'bug'

Let me know - I am curious and will send it off to Samsung

No dedicated finger print was not enabled

It was enabled when I first upgraded to One UI - not before though

It became super annoying - because I couldn't switch hands to unlock the secure folder - so I disabled the dedicated finger print

It has not happened all day - I have deleted the note I made earlier - and still has not happened

There is definitely a bug. I have tried everything, remove dedicated fingerprint, disable fingerprint, hide secure folder, change biometric access. It still pops up everytime.

Same thing here.  Every morn when I grab my phone the first time, it wants a password.  I close it down and its gone until tomorrow.  I dont use it at all.  Very annoying daily.

Had the same problem. Checked disabling fingerprint etc but didnt help. Done an av scan and there was adware installed that tried to open webpages in a browser on unlock. Used bitdefender free version and it detected it. Once removed problem solved.

I figured it out

It has to do with a big with the dedicated fingerprint locking setting just unselect it in lock type and the problem will go away (It worked for me)

Just wonder if anyone has tried setting the lock function to "immediately" ?

If I'm in the folder and its set to lock on any other function other than IMMEDIATLY, when I open my phone it will pop up.  Also the secured folder must be hidden, this too if not enable will prompt the folder to open up.

Yes same thing happens with me, but it is time dependent... It pops up once everyday. Especially if I try to unlock phone in early morning time.... How to get rid of it??? Why it's going to secure folder???
