I have a Note 8 on Rogers, which I just updated to Oreo. Last night when I went to use the "Separate App Sounds" I realized the feature was missing. My friend's S8 on Oreo still has the feature. Is there a reason it's missing?!

Yes they removed all the custom settings for notifications. I used to have separate notifications for each of my contacts. Now I can't do that anymore. This is a horrible update and I want to go back.

Well that's annoying. I loved the ability to play music through my Bluetooth speaker and not have it be interrupted by noise from other apps. I may seek a way to go back to Nougat

Try the SoundAssistant app. I know it did bring that feature for UX8.1 devices (since they got integreated into 8.5)

I have Note 8 from Rogers already updated with Oreo and I have that feature. It's under Settings > Sounds and Vibration > scroll all the way to the bottom.

Yeah it definitely is!

Have you paired your phone to any Bluetooth devices yet since the update?

Yup! I just paired it with my Bluetooth speaker to see if it would show up. It still appears to be missing for whatever reason :(

This is honestly really annoying haha
