Can anyone with a Note 9 or maybe with other galaxy phones test something for me?  My swipe down from anywhere on the screen for the notification panel stops working everytime i change icons / themes or launcher. Even when i put everything back to stock. Only time i get it to work again is by restarting the phone. Just curious if it's a bug with Android 10 or just my phone. ( Yes i did the clearing cache many times before posting this )

Thanks.

GG2,

I suggest you to, Turn the task changer off and back on. Also, Turn off the option to swipe down from the notification panel and turn it back on and use it again.

Also done that before posting. Only way to get it working is a simple restart.

Wait, i take that back. Turning task changer off and on works! Thanks Jeremie. Still weird it does that though.

I guess worst case scenario - Backup your device with Smart Switch & Factory Reset - BUT - There's no go that it will permanently fix the issue...

Did this issue start af the Android version update?

Yep, started after the update but im not sure I want to go through a factory reset as i very rarely try different icons or themes so it hardly affects me.

I've said it many times - But after any Android version update - I always perform a Factory Reset & I've never had any issues on any device... Smart Switch is actually pretty good for restoring after a Factory Reset - It's only a bit more complicated for me because I have a bunch of apps that require adb to get the full usage out of them & some won't work without running adb... Anyway - Your call 🤙 🕊

Yeah you're right, might end up doing a reset.
