As previously reported by yours truly (in that it was going to be this version exactly),DTC6 is now available on the Note9, bringing more than the April patch. There are a few subtle performance improvements, but the most obvious changes are increased support for Good Lock features. QuickStar, for example, was significantly updated. Notification bubbles now do not have the same colour as the background and uses the QS Off colour. The issue where if you used a transparent/translucid background there would be blank corners was also solved, providing a much cleaner QS panel (for those who noticed and were annoyed by this issue). And the Power button was added on the QS panel too.

I believe that MultiStar now supports the split screen function by holding the Recents button (not sure if it wasn't there before), along with an option to NOT kill certain processes if you want to (mind your RAM though, don't select every single app, or hungry apps like LameBook)

The Messages app now supports categories... and custom background! You can set one background per receiver!

Now that's a changelog right? Here's the "official" changelog for comparison:

Oh and also as previously reported, this update increases your BL fuse to 4. It means no going back to Pie (or Oreo) after installing (because yes there was a combination ROM, 3ASJx, available that was still on Oreo). Currently I can't see any game-breaking bug if you're wondering about that.

Update is 300MB big and is available now for ALL CSCs.

So, the true question: When the **bleep** is S9 getting it and why wasn't it released at the same time... Not even announced on carrier updates pages

The answer is: Not soon. This update is not under development for the S9 series.

after updating my note 9 is buggy. notifications aren't showing up properly. incoming messages aren't appearing until well after the sound goes off. I've already cleared the cache partition but it hasn't seemed to help. I really don't want to factory reset my device. Could there be another solution that I am missing?

Huh neat, those are all features from One UI 2.1 lol. I think my dad's S9+ has the different notification card colour though.
