Hi all,

The charging port on my note 10 lite has become very worn in the last 3 years and so I decided to replace the charging port. I replaced the board with the charging port, headphone jack, finger print reader etc and everything power on fine, no problems except when I try to charge I get a yellow triangle with a thermometer. I replaced it with the old board and no issues. I tried this a couple of times and reseated all the connections etc and have even tried a second replacement board and I get the same problem. Is there some software BS I need to do for the phone to accept the new part?

If the old board doesn't show the warning, and asking the obvious, but the part numbers are identical?

If you haven't already, Clearing Cache from Recovery, or a Factory Reset may work.

Only other thing I can think of, go to Settings > Apps & Toggle ON "Show System Apps" Middle Right "Hamburger Menu" & Search for USB & Select it. Scroll down to Storage & CLEAR BOTH Cache & Data & Reboot.

See if that fixes the issue for you?
