  • Hi, I curious if new UI5 Android 13 is better than UI4? Or at least not worse regarding productivity of note 10 lite 8gb ram.

UI3 was really lagging, UI4 is much better.

Since Samsung moved away from the horrible Touch Wiz UI, every version of One UI has been incrementally better than the previous version.

Touch Wiz was awful, but at least back then we could easily Root Samsung devices, so I was fortunate to have been able to avoid anything but very short term exposure to it.

Wait for someone with your device if you want, but I wouldn't hesitate.

Don't have your device, but I would think that One UI V5.0 is going to be better than 4.1 it is on my S20 Ultra.

Is there an immediately obvious improvement, hard to say, but it's definitely not a downgrade!

Thus, UI 5.0 is definitely not lagging or slower than UI 4.1, right?

Speed is my main concern. Review from note 10 lite user would be precious.

Also, I hope the stock Lingvo dictionaries will not disappear. (can't be downloaded for other devices like a52 5 g for instance).

I remember times when the iOS update for iPad 2 made it barely usable.

And UI 3 was slow and lagging compared to UI 4. — had u similar experience with ui3 vs ui 4?

For the animations, like when you switch apps and scroll in the one UI homescreen, one UI 5 is definitely better for me, but for performances, I haven't noticed any changes, and after a test in Geekbench 5 benchmark, device's performances are pretty much similar to one UI 4.1

Thank you for advice, I've upgraded the system. After all apps were updated, it works flawlessly. Instagram and FB were lagging at the beginning. But now it is tip-top.
